Lydia is the founder of Body Therapies. She is a Certified Massage
Therapist with the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and has been a practicing massage therapist since 1983.

She served as Secretary/Treasurer of the first Louisiana Chapter of the American Massage and Therapy Association in 1985 and served her apprenticeship at the Agape Center for nine years while obtaining her certification in Reflexology in 1984 and gained experience as a massage therapist as well as training in Manual Lymph Drainage in 1986.

In her 18 years as a massage therapist she has trained in many modalities such as Polarity, Tragger, Bio-Magnetic Healing, Reiki, Tui-Na and Hospital Based Massage Therapy.

She has also gained certification as an Aromatherapist in 1997 through the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy and in 1998 completed training in
Endermologie.
